We see in the New Testament how Jesus welcomed children and valued them. In seeking to do likewise we want to create an environment where children and young people feel excited about God not bored by church. Many people become Christians when they are young so it is very important that church connects with children, teenagers and young people.

We believe that an understanding of the Bible’s teaching and Christian ethos is of utmost importance for children. A knowledge of these will allow children to develop relationships with God from a young age. It will provide important wisdom and moral guidance when facing new situations and making decisions, providing a firm foundation for later life.

During our Sunday morning service there is Junior Church and a creche. These cater for children of all ages. We have children’s and youth meetings on Tuesday evenings. For ages 5-11 from 5.45 to 6.45 and from 7.15 to 8.45 for secondary school age.

Didgeridoo music and funtime for preschool children is held in the church hall on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

We also have regular times where families get together socially so that parents can support each other and the children can play together.
